What's the MS Science Fest?
The Mississippi Science Fest (MSF), presented by C Spire, is a fun, hands-on event hosted by the four museums of the LeFleur Museum District (LMD) in Jackson, Mississippi on September 21, 2019 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. This is the fourth year that the LMD is hosting the event. The Mississippi Tourism Association recently recognized the 2018 Mississippi Science Fest as the “Small Festival of the Year”!
Leaders from all four museum's of the LMD organized the event to showcase the Magnolia State's innovative science, technology, engineering, and mathematic (STEM) industries and organizations. Featuring special guests, hands-on activities, special exhibitions, interactive activities, and family-friendly celebrations, this two-day festival aims to provide Mississippians with a glimpse into the future of STEM in the our state!
And, each of the four museum's will also host STEM-themed field trips on Friday, September 20, 2019. Click here for details.
The LeFleur Museum District is located in Jackson, MS at I-55 and Lakeland Drive and brings together four uniquely amazing museums:

FREE PARKING & SHUTTLE BUS: Park at any museum (except MS Ag & Forestry Museum) or at LeFleur's Bluff State Park. Then, hop aboard the FREE motor coach to explore all 4 museums! Rides are free with your MSF ticket.
HUNGRY?: Visit the MS Agriculture Museum's General Store, MS Children's Museum's Red Rocket Cafe, or one of several food trucks (not included with admission). See map.
