He earned his Master of Science degree in Industrial Chemistry-Forensic Science from the University of Central Florida and his Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from Louisiana State University.
He is also certified by the American Board of Criminalistics as a criminalist with the specialty area of molecular biology.
George is currently employed as Laboratory Director by the Scales Biological Laboratory, Inc., a private forensic science facility in Brandon, Mississippi. His duties include DNA analysis, serology, latent fingerprint development, shoeprint examinations, fracture comparisons, bloodstain pattern analysis, and crime scene investigation/reconstruction.
George has worked over 4100 cases and has testified as an expert for the prosecution and defense in over 205 trials in 31 Louisiana parishes, 11 Mississippi counties, three Texas counties, nine other states, three federal courts, a United States Air Force court-martial, and two Louisiana city courts.
He has consulted on cases in 32 states; for the United States Army and Air Force; for Israel; Panama; New Zealand; and the United Kingdom.
He has also been featured in numerous books and has appeared in several television shows that have aired on the Discovery Channel, the Independent Film Channel, Investigation Discovery, Oxygen, TRU TV, and Discovery Canada.
